“On the advice of a friend we had the opportunity to meet with Mr. Stan Evans to discuss CBSA, an organization dedicated to assisting high school students with an interest in participating in collegiate athletics…The education provided was extremely beneficial to my wife and I.  It was also very beneficial to our son as it helped him understand that there are many aspects of a prospective college athlete’s life that are important.  It isn’t just the athlete’s statistics that are important.  We also felt that the additional college entrance exam preparation kit offered by CBSA could be of benefit as the academics were also of significant importance to us…The results were immediate.  We were fortunate to receive quick response to the profile sent out.  Numerous contacts were made from the type of schools we had an interest in and we have corresponded with a number of these colleges…We are pleased to know that our son’s name and his athletic and academic statistics have found their way to the schools we had hoped for.  Quite honestly I’m not sure how we otherwise could have obtained this exposure other than a hopeful wish that he be “discovered”, which in retrospect seems quite naïve.  We are also using the ACT program to help optimize his test performance…this has been an easy program to follow and we are confident there will be a notable change.  The additional emphasis put on academic preparation in addition to the athletics is important to us as in 4-5 years it is the academics that will most help determine where one goes after the college sports are over.  We are very happy with our journey along this road and appreciate Mr. Evans and CBSA helping to light the way into this confusing maze” – Robert C. Zach has narrowed the choices to a handful of Division I programs, including some Ivy League schools, he has official visits to all these schools scheduled and has had 98 contacts so far.
